Allentown, PA – The Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC) announced today the promotion of Jeffrey Long of Stewartsville, New Jersey, to Chief Financial Officer to manage the Center’s admirative/financial system, including financial, accounting, legal, information technology (IT), human resources (HR), physical infrastructure, and state and federal reporting, As a member of the senior management team, Jeff will be involved in strategic planning, evaluation, and professional development initiatives. His work also allows MRC to serve its clients as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Prior to joining MRC, Jeff worked as Director of the Finance Department at KidsPeace, a non-profit for children with behavioral and mental health challenges. Other experience includes working as a CFO in government operations and as a manager at a nationally recognized children’s physical rehabilitation hospital system. Jeff holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
MRC is a non-profit and helps drive regional economic development through services that help manufacturers in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, and Schuylkill counties to compete and grow through technology acceleration and innovation, operational excellence, revenue growth, strategic finance, succession planning and executive leadership. MRC is partially funded by NIST MEP and PA DCED. We are an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and one of seven Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Centers (IRCs) that serve manufacturers. MRC is also a member of the Lehigh Valley Partnership for Regional Economic Performance (PREP), a consortia of economic development service providers governed by the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED).
