Canadian waste management company Emterra Environmental has launched its first electric fleet with eight Mack LR Electric refuse trucks in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. This marks the biggest order for Mack’s electric refuse vehicles in North America. Emterra also operates a Mack LR Electric vehicle in Ontario’s Peel Region.
