The Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC) in Allentown is hosting its 8th annual “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” (WSCM) contest in Berks and Schuylkill counties to promote career and technical education (CTE) and STEM learning in middle schools. This Berks/Schuylkill contest will partner 7th and 8th grade student teams with 28 manufacturers Each student team develops, shoots, edits and produces a “cool” video of their manufacturing partner to document their experiences. The culmination of the contest will be at the Berks Schuylkill Awards Event on April 15, 2024, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading where all the winners will be announced.
